Who is prospect2player

Prospect2Player was founded by Tony Doellefeld, a former NCAA Division I athlete and professional soccer player with experience both in the U.S. and Europe. After years of navigating the recruiting process and living out the dream of playing at the highest levels, Tony created Prospect2Player to guide the next generation of student-athletes through that same life-changing journey.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Tony’s soccer path took him across the country. He began with St. Louis Scott Gallagher, went on to compete for St. Louis University High School, and then played Division I soccer at The University of Tulsa—where he helped win two American Conference Tournament championships. He later transferred to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned a degree in Accounting with a minor in Spanish while continuing his college career.

Tony’s success didn’t stop at the college level. He played with U23 Nashville SC in USL League Two, and went on to sign professional contracts with Milwaukee Torrent and Vilamarxant CF in Spain’s third division—fulfilling his lifelong dream of playing in Europe.

Through Prospect2Player, Tony brings not only a deep understanding of the college recruiting process but also an unmatched network of relationships and connections across the soccer world. He knows the challenges student-athletes face and serves as a trusted guide to help players—and their families—find the best fit, both athletically and academically.
